17th September 2011 Cat: Rechargeable Battery Charger with 2 Comments

I play my wii about 90 minutes a day using all 4 remotes. I don’t want a charging station for the wii remote. Looking for some good quality and decent price rechargeable batteries because I kept buying batteries for a 7 months already. Any suggestion …?

Answer by Laura S
I went to Radio Shack and bought six rechargable batteries with two chargers for 20 dollars. Each set of two batteries probably lasts me somewhere between 5 and 10 hours depending on what I am playing and the volume I have the speakers on. One time I swore the battery lasted 20, but I’m not completely sure. Anyway, I use them for both remotes I have and they work great.

I got Energizer rechargeable batteries (4) and recharging station for $ 10-$ 15; it works great, and you say that you use all 4 remotes so you can get another pack of rechargeable batteries, maybe about $ 10, I only use one remote usually and it lasts me about a month before I have to recharge them again; a month is a lot of time for rechargeable batteries at a good price like this, I may not play as much as you, but it lasts a pretty long time for my standards. Hope that helps.

2500mAh Energizers, and a seperate 15-minute Energizer charger. Avaiable off the shelf at Wal-Mart and many other places.
