I have a battery charger from Malaysia, 220V, I am trying to use it to charge my AAA batteries. The “charge” light barely is visible. It is charging, just slower or is it not charging at all? How would I know?
Best answer about Can I charge my AAA batteries on a 220 V battery charger using 120 V outlet?

not sure, one thing you could do is leave the batteries in the charger for a while and use a tester to check for any voltage differences (check before charging and after) be careful, you might damage your charger using it at the wrong voltage

no, won’t work. You need to either buy a chager made for world wide operation or one made for 110V.
Under voltage will actually damage the batteries you are trying to charge.
Another option would be to have a LICENSED electrician wire a special 220v outlet just for the foreign stuff.
