Best answer about can the rechargeable batteries for charger of 110 volts be charged in a charger of 220 volts?
Answer by Bob B
as long as the charger is made to charge the type of battery you are using.
Percival is not exactly correct. I have traveled the world, and I had power supplies and battery chargers work every where… AS LONG AS THE SUPPLY SAYS “100 to 240 volts, 50/60Hz”. That covers the world.

Yes, as long as it for the right sized batteries.
Let’s say you’re recharging some AA batteries, which are 1.5v each (actually 1.25v but that’s splitting hairs). A charger which plugs into 110v will convert to 1.5v to charge the batteries.
But a charger which plugs into 220v will also convert to 1.5v to charge the batteries. And that’s the critical part, what voltage actually gets to the batteries. So in both cases, you’ll be okay.
Here’s what you can NOT do… You can NOT plug a 110v charger into a 220v wall socket, nor can you plug a 220v charger into a 110v wall socket.
