How do I use a wireless Xbox 360 controller without the battery holder?

I’m trying to play my 360 with my wireless controller but the rechargeable battery died and I don’t have my charger with me. Is there some way to use regular batteries without a battery holder?

    It came with another normal pack u can fit 2 AA batteries in and insert into the controller but u can’t play or use a controller without batteries at all.

    You originally will recieve a conventional AA battery holder.
    If you haven’t lost it already!
