I was given the Canon Rebel XT from my Yearbook teacher to take photos while I was on a school field trip and she asked me to charge the battery, yet did not show me how to place it in the charger. It shouldn’t be this hard to charge a battery. Please help!
The chager was in fact the wrong one for the battery. Sorry :/

if you have the right charger, there is no doubt how to insert the battery.
My shetland sheepdog could do it.
So, since you’re asking the question, I’m thinking that you have the wrong charger for your camera battery.
