I am currently trying to get some new rechargeable AAA batteries for my Presenter Wireless Mouse, and I’ve come unstuck:
What difference does the mA variable have on which battery I should buy?
If my mouse chargers says it charges at 500mA, does that mean I need to get 500mA batteries?
Thanks for any help lads and lasses!

No, it just means that is the current going into the battery.
You will buy the batteries with a mAh rating, which describes how much charge they can hold.
Your device will state what sort of batteries it can get, in that that is what it can safely charge.
What I’d likely do is get a set of NiMh cellls and charger, and charge them in the NiMh charger.
