    ~Get a new charger~

I work in a camera shop, and for years there has never been one fault on the bateries end unless they were physically damaged or extremely missused.
I would bet the fault is on the chargers end. But be sure the power source for your charger is working properly (generator, power lines).

Sadly, you need to invest in a new battery. Good luck.

You need new battries, make sure you’r charger has an auto shut off, if not you are probably toasting them with heat build up from over charging.

Try a fresh set of batteries, if those don’t last long with the charger, try a new charger. Different kinds of batteries behave differently. Ni-Cad batteries have a memory effect, and will not hold charges as well if you let them drain all the way, for instance. Overcharging a battery can also shorten it’s life in some cases.
