could some one who knows about cameras reccomend good kind of rechargeable batteries for a Nikon L4. i think i was before told that alkaline batteries will work best.
and please give an estimate of the price of the batteries plus the charger.

Do not get Energizer AA rechargeables / charger. They dont’ work for me very well at all. Poorly designed charger I think.
I like my 15 minute quick charge Ray-O-Vac batteries.
Eneloops are the ones I’d suggest. They’re a hybrid battery designed for strong use till the end. Rapid chargers kill batteries, so get the eneloop charger too.
Most pre-charged batteries are about the same from what I hear, but I have stuck with Eneloops. Costco has the best price from what I’ve seen.
