I have a combined NiCd and NiMH charger that selects between a standard and high capacity charge. Some are batteries are 550, 1400, 2500 and 2650 milliamps (mAh). What should I set the charger to high capacity if over 2000 mAh? Please help, thanks in advance.
Their is no setting lower than the battery can handle.

Well Mah is the capacity of a battery
For AA batteries, the typical normal capacity is between 1500 and 2100mah
Anything higher than 2100mah is usually a high capacity battery.
With AAA, since they’re smaller, the regular capacity is lower ( 500 – 900 mah) anything above that is high capacity.
D size battery regular capacity are around 3000mah.
In your case, I think the best would be to bring everything ( batteries and charger ) to your nearest Batteries Plus store ( http://www.batteriesplus.com ). They’ll be able to advise you exactly how to best use your equipment.
I believe if you see on the battery that it says high capacity, then you should be able to set your charger to high capacity without having any issues.
I hope this help.
