I had bought the two pack and I put one on one Wii remote and one on the other, it worked fine, until around 6 months after I bought it, one of the batteries does not work on the Wii remote, I took it out and switched them, the Wii remote that did not turn on, worked with the other battery but then the other Wii remote did not turn on, and when I put the Wii remote with the bad battery on the charger it kept flashing red, please help! And should I call Energizer or Nintendo about this?
No, the battery are specifically made for the Wii remote and wont fit in any other item because it has the back of the battery case on it.
Best answer about Why doesn’t my Energizer Rechargeable Battery work on my Wii Remote?
Answer by Vicky
Well if you try some other batteries in the remote that are not Energizer and it works then you’ll know the problem is the batteries but I would also try the Energizer batteries in something else as well to see if they work and if so then you’ll know it’s your remote.
Rechargeable batteries should last a long time but some are better than others, I get Duracell and have had them for three years.

I think the batteries may have leaked and Dry up you wont even notice it. Try the batteries in other electronics, if the electroni works there may be a problem with your wii remote.
